A person I know just got arrested for not having paid 500 $ in student loans --- after having paid off already 25000 $.... This is nothing particular. But the interesting and frightening thing is, and it might concern all of us, that they - the banks and the police - tracked him down via the internet since he wasn't listed anywhere.
