This work should be removed because it is embarrasingly poor, and for that reason alone. It's not even good bad art - just pathetically without intelligence. I don't know whether Mr. Staehle would agree with you that his site has no "particular perspective or theme", either? Strikes me that he erred in judgement by showing this work, though.
