Deterministic models as an excuse? Not a bad thesis. However, this doesn't do much for those intellectuals whose practice embraces the subject "with a vengence," spectres of romanticism. Also, we have well observed what can result under the cover of marxist ideals. There are determinisms, and there are determinisms.
