Rainer, it is interesting that you bring up Heidegger. He did more than mere
move around word beginings and endings during the thirties. Rather, he busied
himself with dressing as the Fuhrer, and removing intellectuals (Jewish, of
course) from the university, including his own teacher and mentor, Husserl (who
died shortly thereafter. Could we then then understand this behaviour as a
form of critical consciousness?
