traveller as a special condition of existence

What is a definition of traveller in 20th century? I am not at all looking for any definition, but the question
is interesting, because, so many ways, so many possibilities in this question. For Said theories are travelling as human does,
for Rainer Ganahl languges are motivating the state of moving in the space, for Iggy Pop travelling means being a passenger.
So it is very crucial to that it is travelling that opened up possibility of hybrid, non-eesential ways of existence, which is in fact a very special condition of existence as opposed to universal rules of crossing the border.

arrogance, shouvinism and other prejudices could be explained from this point. Ithink.
