"Digital Cities Inc. (DCI), the leading national network of online
city-based information resources and communities, today announced it has
acquired the key assets of WP-Studio. WP-Studio is a company that
produces the "Total New York" and "Spanker" web sites, and provides web
consultancy through its Primary Group division. As a consequence, ada 'web - along
with Total New York and Spanker - will now become a production of the newly
formed division of DCI, Digital City Studio.
In the next few months, the ada 'web and the DCI teams will evaluate how
the content produced and distributed by ada 'web can be synergized with the
one produced by DC-Studio and distributed by DCI."
DCI is jointly owned by AOL (80%) and Tribune (20%).
